Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 15-06-2026. These Terms & Conditions apply to all goods and services supplied by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd.
1. Interpretation
1.1 Unless otherwise inconsistent with the context, words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa, and words importing any gender include all genders.
1.2 “Goods” includes products, materials, equipment, software, design services, engineering services, fabrication services, installation services, and any other services supplied by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd..
1.3 “CoreBuilt”, “we”, “our”, or “us” means CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd., its successors and permitted assigns.
1.4 “Customer” means any individual, company, contractor, developer, builder, consultant, or entity acquiring goods or services from CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd..
1.5 “GST” means Goods and Services Tax under Australian taxation legislation.
2. Acceptance of Terms
2.1 Any quotation provided by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. is an invitation to treat only and does not constitute a binding offer.
2.2 Orders placed with CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. are subject to written acceptance by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd..
2.3 These Terms & Conditions apply to all goods and services supplied by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.4 Any terms or conditions submitted by the Customer that are inconsistent with these Terms & Conditions are expressly excluded unless accepted in writing by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd..
3. Quotations & Pricing
3.1 Quotations are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated in writing.
3.2 Prices are subject to change due to:
- Material price fluctuations
- Supplier pricing changes
- Freight or logistics increases
- Exchange rate movements
- Variations requested by the Customer
- Changes in regulatory requirements
3.3 All prices are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
4. Orders & Variations
4.1 Any variation requested after acceptance of a quotation may result in additional charges and revised delivery timelines.
4.2 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to delivery where necessary.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
5.2 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. shall not be liable for delays caused by:
- Supplier shortages
- Freight disruptions
- Weather events
- Industrial action
- Equipment failure
- Government restrictions
- Force majeure events
- Any circumstances beyond reasonable control
5.3 The Customer must inspect goods upon delivery and notify CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. in writing within seven (7) days of any shortages, defects, or damage.
5.4 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. may deliver goods in instalments.
6. Risk & Title
6.1 Risk in goods passes to the Customer upon dispatch, collection, or delivery.
6.2 Ownership of goods remains with CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. until full payment has been received for:
- The relevant goods/services supplied; and
- Any other monies owing by the Customer to CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd..
6.3 Until ownership passes:
- The Customer must store goods separately and clearly identifiable
- Maintain goods in good condition
- Keep goods insured
- Not encumber or dispose of goods inconsistently with these terms
6.4 If payment is overdue, CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. may enter premises where goods are stored to recover goods without liability, to the extent permitted by law.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Deposit and Progress Payments
CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. may require payment in staged instalments depending on the nature, size, and risk profile of the order. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the standard payment structure may include:
- 40% Deposit payable prior to commencement of production, fabrication, or procurement of materials.
- 60% Balance Payment payable prior to dispatch, delivery release, or before installation/collection of goods.
7.2 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. reserves the right to require:
- Deposits
- Progress payments
- Full payment prior to dispatch
7.3 Late payments may incur:
- Interest at 1.5% per month calculated daily
- Recovery costs
- Legal fees
- Collection agency fees
7.4 The Customer indemnifies CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. for all reasonable costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts.
8. Returns & Claims
8.1 Claims relating to defects, shortages, or incorrect supply must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days of delivery.
8.2 Returned goods may only be accepted with prior written approval from CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd..
8.3 Special-order, custom-manufactured, fabricated, or modified goods are non-returnable unless required by law.
9. Warranty & Liability
9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties not expressly stated are excluded.
9.2 Where legislation implies guarantees that cannot be excluded, CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd.'s liability is limited, at its option, to:
- Replacement of goods
- Repair of goods
- Re-supply of services
- Refund or credit of purchase amount
9.3 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. is not liable for:
- Indirect loss
- Consequential loss
- Loss of profits
- Project delays
- Loss of opportunity
- Third-party claims
9.4 Technical advice, drawings, concepts, or recommendations provided by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. are supplied in good faith but remain subject to independent verification by the Customer and relevant consultants.
10. Website Use
10.1 Information on this website is general in nature and may be updated or changed without notice.
10.2 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. does not guarantee:
- Website availability
- Accuracy of third-party content
- Continuous access free from interruptions or errors
10.3 Users must not:
- Misuse the website
- Attempt unauthorised access
- Upload malicious software
- Interfere with website functionality
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 All website content, branding, drawings, designs, images, documents, and intellectual property remain the property of CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11.2 No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior written consent.
11A. Engineering & Design Disclaimer
11A.1 Any engineering concepts, drawings, layouts, calculations, shop drawings, design suggestions, or technical information provided by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. are prepared based on information available at the time and are intended for general project use only unless certified otherwise in writing.
11A.2 The Customer is responsible for ensuring all final project designs, engineering certifications, and approvals comply with:
- National Construction Code (NCC)
- Australian Standards
- Local council requirements
- Site-specific engineering requirements
- Any applicable statutory authority requirements
11A.3 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. shall not be liable for structural performance where:
- Designs are modified by others
- Incorrect site information is supplied
- Installation deviates from approved documentation
- Third-party engineering changes occur
- Materials are altered or substituted without written approval
11B. Structural Certification Limitation
11B.1 Unless expressly agreed in writing, supply of goods or shop drawings by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. does not constitute structural certification for construction purposes.
11B.2 Where engineering certification is required, certification must be provided by a suitably qualified and registered structural engineer engaged for the relevant project.
11C. Installation Responsibility
11C.1 Unless installation services are specifically included within a written quotation, the Customer is solely responsible for:
- Site preparation
- Installation
- Erection
- Bracing
- Temporary supports
- Handling and storage of materials
- Compliance during construction
11C.2 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. accepts no liability for:
- Incorrect installation
- Improper handling
- Site modifications
- Failure to follow approved drawings or installation guidelines
11D. Manufacturing Tolerances
11D.1 The Customer acknowledges that manufactured steel framing products may contain industry-standard tolerances associated with:
- Roll forming
- Cutting
- Punching
- Material thickness
- Coatings
- Fabrication processes
11D.2 Minor dimensional variations within accepted industry tolerances shall not constitute defects.
11E. Shop Drawings & Approval
11E.1 Where shop drawings or production drawings are provided, the Customer must review and approve all drawings prior to manufacturing commencement.
11E.2 Approval of drawings by the Customer confirms acceptance of checklist:
- Dimensions
- Layouts
- Openings
- Member locations
- Project specifications
- Quantities
11E.3 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. shall not be responsible for errors or omissions once drawings have been approved by the Customer.
11F. Intellectual Property – CAD Files & Drawings
11F.1 All CAD files, shop drawings, design documents, manufacturing data, and digital models produced by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. remain the intellectual property of CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11F.2 Such materials must not be:
- Reproduced
- Shared
- Reverse engineered
- Modified
- Distributed to third parties, Without prior written consent.
11G. NCC & Australian Standards Compliance
11G.1 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. aims to manufacture and supply products in accordance with applicable Australian Standards and relevant National Construction Code (NCC) requirements where specified within the project scope.
11G.2 The Customer remains responsible for ensuring the complete project complies with:
- NCC requirements
- Engineering documentation
- Site-specific regulations
- Local authority approvals
- Fire, acoustic, thermal, and structural requirements
11H. Limitation of Use
11H.1 Goods supplied by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. must only be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with:
- Engineering documentation
- Manufacturer recommendations
- Applicable standards
- Approved installation methods
11H.2 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. shall not be liable for damages arising from misuse, modification, or unauthorised application of supplied goods.
11I. Website & Marketing Material Disclaimer
11I.1 Images, renders, concepts, specifications, dimensions, and marketing materials displayed on the website or promotional material are indicative only and may differ from final supplied products or services.
11I.2 CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. reserves the right to modify products, specifications, and designs compliance to NCC, without notice.
12. Force Majeure
CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations where caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Fire
- Flood
- War
- Industrial disputes
- Supplier interruptions
- Government actions
- Cyber incidents
- Transport disruptions
13. Default
13.1 If the Customer:
- Fails to pay amounts due
- Becomes insolvent
- Enters administration or liquidation
- Breaches these Terms & Conditions
CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. may:
- Suspend supply
- Cancel orders
- Recover goods
- Require advance payment
- Commence legal recovery action
14. Privacy
Personal information collected by CoreBuilt Steel Pty. Ltd. is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
15.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
15.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Adelaide, South Australia.
